Samples of Cataphoric and Anaphoric (Haziqah's)

Only two weeks left before Muslim in the whole world celebrate it. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is regarded as a merry celebration as it marks a person’s triumph and success on discipline and self-resistance during a full one month fasting in the holy month which called Ramadhan. There is a lot of advantages Muslim can gain in this month, that is why we are encourage to do as many good deeds as we can. After a month, Muslim celebrates Hari Raya cheerfully and with joy. The fasting does not deter us from making preparations to welcome Hari Raya Aidilfitri. However, it builds up excitement. During Ramadhan, we have already start to shop for new clothes, delicacies and goodies and furnish our home with new furniture and decorations.
As for my family and I, we will be celebrating Hari Raya at my father’s hometown which is situated in Kedah. Six hours travelling in the car sure is tiring especially when we travel while fasting. Usually, he will be exhausted at the half-way drive, so father will drive to RnR for us to perform prayer and relaxing for a moment before continuing the journey. Upon arriving at our grandparents’ house, we will be greeted by them and close relative. Our families will start gathered around and chit-chatting as we have not seen each other for quite some time. Especially the adults, they would really spent a long time talking while bringing back memories. During the night time, all of us will be performing tarawikh at the nearby mosque while greeted some relative and our grandparents’ neighbours along the way.
The most exciting moment before Hari Raya is when we gather around in front of the television while waiting for Hari Raya announcement. They would shouting happily informing the positive news and subsequently, the kids would also start to play with firecrackers at the house compound.
In the morning of first Syawal, we will go to the mosque to pray. After praying, the children would line up to ask forgiveness from the older. This is a precious moment in the morning of Syawal where they will sheds sincere tears as a sign of true regret, adults surely used this opportunity before not be able to see each other again. After that, we will receive guests and relatives who come to pay us a visit, they will also give ‘duit raya’ to the children in our house. This is the moment the ladies of the house will present the foods that had been prepare the days before. Usually, womenfolk make many varieties of cakes, cookies and sweetmeats to be devour in the Syawal month for the families and guests, they also cook 'rendang' curries and prepare 'satay' to go with the 'ketupat'. They would likely be helping decorating the house compound with many coloured lights, the men will also lit small lamps and placed along the driveway.  While the children would go around the neighbourhood, collecting duit raya. They will wear new clothes and shoes. The girls will wear jewellery while the boys wear new 'songkoks'.
The town is usually crowded with Muslims dressed gaily and going about. We will visit our friends and relatives. For most of us, Hari Raya is a time for family reunions. It make Muslim rejoices during this festive season.
